Wing Activity Weekend
25 March, 2023 - 26 March, 2023
There are a number of courses that are now up on the Cadet Portal that will be taking place on the weekend of 25th and 26th March. These are as follows:
Method of Instruction (Training)
Location: 2056 (Knutsford) Squadron
“Training Course for SENIOR or MASTER cadets to complete the Method of Instruction (Training) Package.
Cadets MUST have completed the Presentation Skills Module at Squadron.”
Method of Instruction (Assessment)
Location: 2056 (Knutsford) Squadron
“This is an ASSESSMENT DAY for those cadets who have completed the training package and are ready to be assessed to be awarded the yellow lanyard upon completion of the assessment.”
DofE Initial Expedition Training
Location: 247 (Tameside) Squadron
“Greater Manchester Wing will be conducting classroom training sessions for the Bronze and direct entry Silver DofE on the 25th and 26th of March 2022.
The course will host any cadets that are already registered on eDofE for the Bronze and direct entry Silver award from across GM Wing from its various units from 08:45hrs through to 16:00hrs on both days.
The Aim of this course will be to ensure all participants have the appropriate knowledge level to undertake the expedition section of the award. The candidates will also be provided with the knowledge required for kit purchase and route planning.”
